Discover Your Roots: Ancestry.com Review And Giveaway!

Posted on July 15th, 2011 by Lucinda Currey

Im going to confess something I really dont know a lot about family tree.

Its funny, because I know a lot about random OTHER peoples family trees. Like, I can easily rattle off that Kate Middleton is a descendant of Henry VIII. (Bet you didnt know that, huh? Mary Boleyn (Yes, Annes SISTER!), was his mistress at one point, and they had a daughter, who Kate is descended from!)

But my family? I barely know where many of them are from. Its sad.

And so, I was grateful when Ancestry.com, the world’s largest online family history resource, offered me the opportunity to have a media world deluxe membership and to give away a membership as well the site is amazing, it contains over 6 billion historical records and over 1.6 million members creating families trees. Once logged in, you can search census Records & Voting Lists, Birth, Marriage, & Death Records, Immigration & Emigration Records, Military Records, Newspapers & Periodicals, Directories & Member Lists, Family Trees, and much more!

You can sign up for a free 14-day trial or You can purchase a membership here.
