Summery Scents

Although most girls don’t really need to smell nicer than they already do (let’s face it – girl’s usually smell awesome no matter what!), it’s fun to wear additional fragrances! And this summer, it’s even nicer if the summer scents are fresh and delightful. It seems like each summer, I fall in love with one more fragrance. This summer, everything I like has major fruity smells, as well as flowers and other wonderful things.
My absolute favorite of all the summer scents is Country Chic, from Bath & Body Works! This beautiful scent was inspired by fresh air, spring woods, and America’s countryside. The fruitiness comes from lemon and juicy pear, while cedar wood and patchouli lend an edge, and then the floral notes are jasmine and day lily, making this summer scent very well rounded! Since this fragrance is from Bath & Body Works, it comes in almost every medium imaginable, but I love the shimmer body mist! It’s a less concentrated version, filled with tiny sparkles that give your skin a light sheen. This scent is perfect for picnics and day trips!
For those of you who are true islanders at heart, Bath & Body Works Coconut Mango will have you dizzy with deliciousness! The creamy scent of coconut mixed with sweet mango is like a harmony straight from Hawaii. There’s also hints of fuji apple, white nectarine, and melon to add to that classic fruitiness. Yet it’s the sandalwood and tahitian vanilla that ground summer scents like this into a scent you can wear every day. Getting ready for a beach day? This summer scent is for you!
If you want more of a mellow summer scent, try American Eagle’s Bohemian Summer for Her. This fragrance is gorgeous with freesia, vanilla orchid, vetiver, and soft musk. Yet the bold scent of bergamot and zesty lemon leaves create a to-die-for aroma that is unique and fresh! Wear this beautiful perfume on a summer night, where the air is crisp but warm!
